White Sage (Salvia Alpine)

White sage grows mainly in sunny California and is one of the most powerful plants for cleansing and blessing rooms, living beings or objects. Its fragrance is rather sour. However, it was and is considered by the Native Americans to be one of the few plants that contain only pure, positive energy. It is therefore used to ward off evil and promote clear thinking. It is often associated with the west, the direction of revered ancestors and the sunset, the direction of spiritual calm in the evening.
